SOHEP VISITED ANTALYA AND INSPECTED THE ACTIVITIES ON SITE

The city visit was held in Antalya on June 2, 2022, with the participation of 5 personnel, namely Gözde Aydın, the Purchasing Assistant of the Project, Nazlıcan Aktürk, Data Evaluation Experts, Gül Nida Akbaş and Neslihan Yakut, and Mustafa Kahveci from Family and Community Services personnel.

The visit started with a visit to the office of Mr. Halil Atik, Antalya Provincial Director of the Ministry of Family and Social Services. In the meeting that took place, information about the social work activities in Antalya was obtained and a presentation was made on the planned projects.

Afterwards, Kepez Social Service Center was visited. The visit, which took place within the scope of monitoring and evaluation, was carried out meticulously under the guidance of SOHEP personnel, Deputy Provincial Director Mr. Halil Atik and Kepez SHM Social Services Manager Mr. Efsun Şeker. Information was given about the administrative structure of Kepez SHM, service units and unit activities.

During the provincial visit to Antalya, monitoring and evaluation were made at the Konyaaltı social service center, which will be opened under the coordination of the "Project for Increasing Access to Social Services (SOHEP) carried out within the scope of FRIT II".In the examinations, Antalya Family and Social Services Provincial Director Halil Atik, Group Leader Bilal Bey, Assistant Manager of Administrative and Financial Affairs Filiz Hanım and information about the administrative structure, service units and unit activities of SHM were given.The Social Service Center, whose construction and furnishing analysis process continues, is planned to start operating as soon as possible.

One of the places visited on the same day was the Directorate of Antalya Children's Homes Site.Antalya Children's Houses Site Manager Ali Özdemir was visited on site. After giving information about the functioning of the directorate, visits were made to children's homes. Opinions were exchanged on the activities planned for the administrative section of the building and on the projects that are made or likely to be done for orphans and orphans aged 0-18. The program ended with an evaluation meeting held with SOHEP project personnel, accompanied by Antalya Family and Social Services Provincial Director Mr. Halil Ataç and Antalya Children's Houses Site Manager Ali Özdemir.
