SOHEP VISITED IZMIR AND INSPECTED THE ACTIVITIES ON SITE

City visit with the participation of 6 personnel, including project coordinator and ATHGM/YHDB Salih Bozkurt, Purchasing Assistant Abdullah Gökhan Karakoç, Monitoring, Evaluation and Data Analyst Beyzanur Yılmaz, Data evaluation experts Ezgi Mıhcı and Şüheda Gedikli, and Family and Community Services personnel Saniye Yavuz, 2 It was held in Izmir in June 2022.

The program started with a visit to the office of Nesim TANĞLAY, the Provincial Director of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and a general assessment of the situation in the province.

Afterwards, one of the other visiting points, accompanied by Provincial Director Nesim TANĞLAY and Deputy Provincial Director Zehra HOŞGELDİ, was the office of Çiğli District Governor Adnan ÇAKIROĞLU.After the consultations on the issues carried out jointly with our Ministry, our team left the district governorship.

Another visiting point was the Karşıyaka Social Service Center building. The SOHEP team made an on-site inspection that the Karşıyaka Social Service Center, which is within the scope of the project, has completed its final preparations in accordance with the opening. Our team, who visited the Buca Nursing Home Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center Directorate, lastly visited the Buca Social Service Center and SHM Director Ms. Emine BÖÇKÜN in her office and got information about the implementation units related to SHM activities and their functioning.
