SOHEP PAID PROVINCIAL VISITS

Visits were paid to the provinces of Adana, Mersin, and Hatay on 28-29 and 30 March 2022, under the coordination of the "Project for Increase Accessibility of the Social Services (SOHEP)" carried out within the scope of FRIT II.

Visits were carried out to examine the properties to be rented on-site, ensuring the necessary coordination between the Provincial Directorates and SOHEP Project personnel, determining the scope of the furnishing support to be provided on-site, and conducting the process follow-up effectively, efficiently, and quickly.

Provincial visits were attended by 8 project personnel including Salih BOZKURT, Project Coordinator and Head of Department, Gizem SARGIN, Procurement specialist, Beyzanur YILMAZ and Tuğçe Demet UĞUR, Monitoring and Data Evaluation Analysts, Hande KARAKURT and Nazlıcan AKTÜRK, Reporting and Documentation Specialists, and Saniye YAVUZ and Fatma YALÇINER, GDMS Personnel.

During the visits, it is noted that the opening permits and approvals of 6 of the 18 Social Service Centers (SHM) to be rented within the scope of the project were completed (Adana/Sarıçam-Mersin/Yenişehir-Hatay/Defne-Hatay/Samandağ-Antalya/Konyaaltı-İzmir/Karşıyaka) and the infrastructure preparatory works for the properties to be leased were started by the Provincial Directorates. Several issues regarding the search for finding rental properties in Adana, Hatay, and Mersin for 6 Day Care Centers, which are planned to be rented within the scope of the project, have been completed by the Provincial Directorates and the relevant documents have been sent to the Presidency for a rental permit by the General Directorate of Services for the Disabled and Elderly were seen and evaluated on-site.
